Hello.
My name is Mandy Fowler, I am the Founder of Resolution Room Inc. I am dedicated to helping families in Sault Ste. Marie and across Ontario, resolve their family disputes and conflict in a non-adversarial way.
My Story
I was born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie, where myself and my husband Paul are now raising our own children. Paul and I founded a Registered Charity named "Kayge Fighters Against DIPG Foundation" and a Not-For-Profit called "Kayge Fighters Foundation" both in 2018, to help other families who are going through the same terminal Childhood Cancer diagnosis called "Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG)" that ultimately took our son Kayge at the age of 6 in 2019.
I received my B.A., from Algoma University in 2008, and a Law Clerk Diploma from Northern College in 2018 with Honours. I then went on to receive my Accreditation through Ontario Association for Family Mediation (OAFM) in 2020 and my accreditation for Child Protection Mediation in 2021. I completed my training through the George Hull Centre for Family Group Conferencing in 2022. I am a strong advocate for Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and I practice in the North and across Ontario. I pride myself in working with families through separation and divorce, and I have a strong passion for developing new approaches to dealing with conflict while ensuring the safety and well-being of families and children. I became a Registered Social Worker graduating from Algoma University – School of Social Work in 2023, with a lens to applying Indigenous-based practices and strength-based approaches to social services. Most recently I became accredited through Triple P Canada as a Triple P - Level 5 Family Transitions Facilitator in June of 2024. Mandy recently became an accredited Openness Adoption Mediator in February 2025.

I currently work for various companies across the province including Thunder Bay Counselling, Community Counselling Center of Nipissing, Peel Family Mediation Services, and I'm also a Mediation Coach and Instructor at York University. In addition, I am running my private practice, Resolution Room Inc., formerly known as "Fowler Mediation Services" which has a student program that is approved through the Ontario Association for Family Mediation (OAFM) to assist Mediation Students to become accredited Family Mediators.

My hope is to bridge some of the gaps that clients have brought forward over the years. Through the Resolution Room Inc. I hope to continue adding services over the next few years to assist families in our community and surrounding area with conflict resolution, counselling, and a variety of other services in one place at more affordable prices and less wait times.

Jo Arnott
Jo brings an extensive knowledge and a high level of compassion to the family mediation field. With almost two decades of experience working with families at different chapters of their lives as a RSW, she can approach mediation with understanding, consideration, and creative thinking. Jo can meet people where they are and with a solution-based practice, she can help guide them to their next chapter. Jo is passionate about creating and maintaining healthy and thriving co-parenting dynamics to support healthy and thriving kids.

Leah Lall
Leah Lall is a trained mediator with a robust background in social services and extensive experience working with families, children, teenagers, and diverse cultures. She is recognized for her calm and friendly demeanor, essential for effective mediation. Leah firmly believes that with a rational approach and productive dialogue, any two parties can achieve a mutually satisfactory agreement. Her approachable style, direct communication, and skill in asking the right questions enable her to guide clients toward efficient and amicable resolutions.
