Accelerated Part I - Winter Practicum (40 hours)

Dates: Jan. 20, 26 & 27, Feb. 3 & 10, 2025 Times: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Accelerated Winter Practicum - Part I - is a requirement for Part II of the program. In Part I, we will have 40-Hours of instructional time, 1 Mediation with "Actors" to simulate real mediation. Email/call "clients", set up intake appointments, request documents and complete one mediation from start to finish, with intakes, mediation and complete a full mediation report. The purpose and difference of this practicum is that during the instructional time we discuss starting your own mediation practice, working for transfer payment agencies, working for court-connected mediation programs, case management, tricks and tools to running a smooth practice, intake and screening, readiness, tips for success, guest speakers, resources available, creative marketing, billing, websites, promotional materials, different types of ADR, networking and more!!
