Accelerated Winter 80 Hour Practicum

Dates: Jan. 20, 26, 27, Feb. 3, 10, 24, March 2, 17, 24 & 31, 2025 Hours: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. The 80 hour accelerated Practicum course includes: 40-Hours of instructional time 3 Mediations with "Actors" to simulate real mediation Email/call "clients", set up intake appointments Request documents Complete three mediations from start to finish, with intakes, mediation and complete 3 full mediation report. The last 40 hours focuses on comprehensive mediation files that include parenting plans, child support, spousal support, financials, property and much more! We will also have guests speakers, Q&A sessions, how to fill out your application for your final 20 hours towards accreditation and how to complete your application with OAFM for final accreditation! The purpose and difference of this practicum is that during the instructional time we discuss starting your own mediation practice, working for transfer payment agencies, working for court-connected mediation programs, case management, tricks and tools to running a smooth practice, intake and screening, readiness, tips for success, guest speakers, resources available, creative marketing, billing, websites, promotional materials, different types of ADR, networking and more!!
